Today, I picked you a grape leaf.

I'm readjusting to Germany/German time once again. I miss everyone back home, and the trip for a few short days there has definitely made it even harder to come back here and be away. But I do what I must do, and I'll be back home before anyone knows it...

I got back here yesterday around noon. Klaus and Mira picked me up, and we went to a town called Frankenthal to get her new glasses. Klaus was joking saying he has a new daughter because they make her look different and she sees things differently now. Then we went home and ate some lunch. Klaus took me to class, which is at 14:30, and dropped me off with the bike. Class gets out at 17:45, so I then went to Weingut Heissler to say hello to Sib since I hadn't seen her yet. I road the bike back home, and it's so nice to be back on one. It's also surprisingly not cold here. Today was probably around 35-40F. I don't even have to wear a coat anymore! I wish I'd known this because then I could have taken them home with me when I went the other day.

I woke up late today from the jet lag. Ugh. I hate that so much. It was so easy to go back to Florida but so not easy to come back to Germany.

Today, we had some bananas with Nutella and played inside because it was overcast. We had lunch with Klaus, and Mira came home from school shortly after. When Benji was napping, I baked some brownies with supplies that Josh's mom sent back here with me. They turned out well, actually! Benji and I went outside after his nap and played in what is now mud. Good thing we were wearing our boots! He thought it was really cool and pretended to get stuck in it so I would come pull him out. I also had to make dinner tonight, and it, also, turned out well. I think Sib just got home from her meeting with, yes, the Burgermeister.

I got to Skype with Julie and Josh today! Two of my favorite people. I also got a package from my mom containing chocolate chips and softlips chap stick. She knows what's up.
